The 6.5mm 144 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target Rifle Bullet was specifically designed around cartridges like the 6.5 Creedmoor. 6.5 Creedmoor fans have long touted that the ideal Rifle Bullet weight for this cartridge in Precision Rifle competitions is somewhere between 140 and 150 grains. After experimenting with several designs and weights, our engineering and ballistics team found that “sweet spot” at 144 grains, and thus the 6.5mm 144 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target Rifle Bullet was born. Berger went above and beyond with this design and not only found the ideal weight, but added an optimized hybrid ogive profile and proprietary Meplat Reduction Technology process to the equation to further increase the BC while also reducing the BC Variation.
